Teaching Resources

Here are some updated resources that I regularly use in my teaching practices. I have simply linked major websites instead of individual pages because they are the main sources I use to find individualized support.

Colored pencil tips
Student Writing
Public Speaker

These comics from The Oatmeal seem goofy and funny, however, they are also a great way to. help students understand common grammar errors in their writing. The examples are memorable, if nothing else, and they will be in the back of students' minds while writing.

Since I am a new instructor, I've found this website very helpful. I know it may not apply to everyone, but I have continued to learn from it time and time again while planning my own classes.

TED education talks are quite possibly the most helpful and encouraging resource for new instructors such as myself. Each talk has so much information and advice that it would be a shame not to include them in this section.
