Syllabi and activities for recent courses I've taught
This course is made up of three units: coming of age stories, unreliable narration, and experimental writing (under the phrase "pushing the boundaries"). For the first two units, students can choose between writing a story that meets the conventions of each genre, or analyzing a story, tv show, or movie within the genre.

My creative writing classrooms are collaborative workshop environments. Most of the class focuses on writing and revising, while discussing craft and professional works once a week after our workshop assignments.
This Composition 2 syllabus is based on the core curricula of Oklahoma State's First Year Composition department. I have taught this class asynchronously and online via zoom. I have taught Composition 1 both online and in person, and have assignment sheets and unit plans for both courses available upon request.
